Outside of her career, Melissa enjoys her family life with her husband, Sam, and their two sons, Vinny and Theo. Their household is complete with their playful dog, Mustard. Dalia is the lead dental assistant here at Race Track Smiles and helps patients every step of the way during their visits. She aims to help patients leave with a brighter smile and ensure they walk away with more knowledge they can share with others. Born and raised in Florida with proud Puerto Rican roots, Dalia has a six-year-old son, Z, who keeps her on her toes. When not in the office, Dalia enjoys the sunshine and relaxes by the water. Writing is another passion of hers, and she loves reflecting and expressing herself through words. Dalia truly believes that everyone deserves a positive dental experience. She is here to make sure you feel comfortable, informed, and confident in your smile. Helping others is at the heart of everything she does professionally and personally.

Her background in communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building has been shaped by both professional experience and college. A passionate traveler, Val has explored over 20 countries, cultivating a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and new experiences. Family is her foundation — especially her little sister, who holds a special place in her heart. Outside of family time, you’ll find her in the gym as a competitive bodybuilder, always striving to be her best version. Originally from New Jersey and now proud to call Tampa home, Val is excited to explore everything her new city has to offer.
